Rossum Press Announces Its Launch

Rossum Press is excited to announce its launch as a groundbreaking new player in fiction publishing. Dedicated to bringing literary gems from under-translated languages to a global audience, Rossum Press is using cutting-edge advances in Large Language Model Artificial Intelligence to topple longstanding barriers between authors and readers.

Rossum Press’s proprietary translation system, in the hands of their team of publishing professionals, promises to deliver a higher volume of material than conventional publishers without sacrificing quality of translation. The use of recent tech breakthroughs also allows the publishing house to distribute profits more equitably than conventional publishers, with the owners drawing a salary from the operating budget and all profits being returned to authors and editorial and publishing talent.

Rossum Press aims to provide a fair deal for all of its stakeholders, and that includes readers. The publisher offers a paid subscription, which provides members with an advisory role in its management, as well as access to new titles in advance of release and exclusive content. At a time of stagnation in the publishing industry, this community-driven model fosters a closer connection between readers and authors.

The inaugural release from Rossum Press is The Club of True Creators by Milan Tripković, a comedy thriller novel from Serbia which was shortlisted for the country’s preeminent fiction prize in 2022, the NIN Award. After a launch period covering 2024, the publisher plans to release twelve diverse titles from 2025.
